A sore tooth isn’t fun for anyone.
If your child is experiencing a toothache, cleaning and dislodging any stuck food in the tooth may help. You can do this with a toothbrush or dental floss. You can also have your child clean the area by rinsing with warm saltwater. If necessary, give Advil (Ibuprofen) or Tylenol (Acetaminophen) to reduce inflammation and pain. Aspirin or Orajel should not be given to infants or children.
